Triominos

Triominos

Number three changes the game.

Everyone knows the classic tiles with two numbers. Safe, familiar, predictable. Triominos adds a third, and that third number flips the whole story. After Shit Happens, Goliath Games came back to SuperRebel.Agency with a clear mission: show the world that Triominos is anything but a boring game.

What’s brave?

It takes a brave brand to break its own pattern. Triominos is a classic, and classics risk being taken for granted. Instead of playing it safe, Goliath put the one thing that makes the game different at the center of everything: the third number. It’s the plot twist no one sees coming.

A third that changes everything.

Every great duo has a story. We know how it goes, until someone new shows up. In every video, an iconic duo takes the lead. Then an unexpected third enters the scene and gives the story a spin nobody saw coming. Just like the third number on a Triominos tile, which turns every move into a new game.

Adam and Eve are in paradise, and just as Eve is about to take a bite of the apple, the pizza delivery guy arrives. Hansel and Gretel finally reach the gingerbread house, only for a building inspector to step in and declare the whole thing unfit. The camera pulls back, the set is revealed, and three players sit down for a game of Triominos.

Made to stop the scroll.

We turned the concept into social and performance videos, built for vertical screens and launched in six languages across Europe. Then we handed the idea over to creators, who made it their own. One lesbian creator couple announced they were “experimenting” with a third person: a man. Cue the raised eyebrows. The plot twist? He was there to play Triominos. Everything you love about Dominoes. Times three.
