SNOWWORLD. WINTER SPORTS. WHENEVER YOU WANT.

Turning Europe’s indoor ski slopes into an international winter sports brand.

SnowWorld asked SuperRebel.Agency to develop a strong creative direction for the 26/27 season. We saw a bigger opportunity. Because SnowWorld doesn’t need another campaign that disappears when the season ends. It needs an idea that can build the brand for years to come.

An idea that works in winter and summer. For experienced skiers and complete beginners. For training, lessons, families, friends and fun. Across countries, cultures and channels.

So instead of asking ourselves how to advertise an indoor ski slope, we asked a different question: What if SnowWorld could change the way people think about winter sports altogether?

Because SnowWorld’s biggest competitor isn’t another indoor slope. It’s the deeply ingrained idea that winter sports mean going away. Driving to Austria or France. Taking a week off. Packing the car. Booking months ahead. And, above all, waiting for winter.

SnowWorld changes that logic.

The snow is already there. You can ski after work. Take a lesson after school. Test your board on a random Saturday. Get ready for your holiday. Or escape into the snow while the rest of Europe is sweating through another 30-degree summer day.

SnowWorld takes something that traditionally requires a lot of planning and turns it into something you can simply decide to do.

That became the strategic foundation for the new international brand platform:
WINTER SPORTS. WHENEVER YOU WANT.

Not a seasonal campaign line, but a permanent promise.

SnowWorld gives you something even the mountains can’t: freedom. Freedom from distance, freedom from seasons and freedom from planning your life around one week in the snow.

The mountains depend on winter.
SnowWorld doesn’t.

PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANT TO WAIT FOR WINTER.
That promise also gave us a different way of looking at SnowWorld’s audience.

Because there isn’t one typical SnowWorld visitor. There’s the dedicated skier who wants to improve their technique. The snowboarder who wants to test a new board. The beginner who has always wanted to try. The family looking for something different to do together. And the group of friends who are very much done with another night in the same bar.

Different people, different motivations, different levels. But they share one mindset: why wait?

That’s the behavioural change at the heart of the brand. Winter sports no longer have to be a major event in the calendar. They can become part of everyday life.

Feel like skiing? Go skiing.

It sounds almost ridiculously simple.
Which is exactly the point.

JUST OFF…
To turn that brand promise into a campaign, we needed a creative language that made this new behaviour tangible.

If WINTER SPORTS. WHENEVER YOU WANT. is the promise, I’M JUST OFF… is what people actually do with it.

“Just off to test my board.”
“Just off to sharpen my tricks.”
“Just off snowboarding.”

By using the language of something small and spontaneous for something as seemingly big as winter sports, we remove the distance between wanting to go and actually going.

You’re not “going on a ski holiday”.
You’re just off.

That simple construction gives us an almost endless campaign system. It can speak to beginners, families, experienced riders, ski-school students or friends. It can talk about performance in January and cooling down in July. And because the idea is based on behaviour rather than a clever English headline, it travels naturally across borders.

The campaign launches across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the UK, in four languages, across online and offline media.

WINTERSPORT. WANNEER JIJ WIL.
WINTERSPORT. WANN DU WILLST.
LES SPORTSD’HIVER. QUAND VOUS VOULEZ.

WINTER SPORTS. WHENEVER YOU WANT.

Different language. Same attitude. Same SnowWorld.

WE LEFT THE MOUNTAINS BEHIND.

The strategic idea also dictated the photography. Winter sports advertising has spent decades showing us the same visual clichés: perfect mountains, blue skies, fresh powder, chalets and people carving through endless white landscapes.

Beautiful? Sure.
Distinctive? Not anymore.

And more importantly, it tells exactly the story SnowWorld is trying to change.
So we deliberately took the mountains out of the campaign.

Instead, photographer Alek Bruessing shot winter sports right in the middle of everyday life. A snowboarder at the station. A skier walking out of a boardroom. A kid leaving school with winter sports gear. Completely believable worlds, disrupted by one detail that doesn’t quite belong there.

The result feels less like advertising for an indoor ski slope and more like a sportswear campaign. Confident, editorial and slightly unexpected. You see a strong image first. Then you discover the winter sports details. Then the copy lands.

No Alpine fantasy. No fake snowstorms. No people standing around in full ski outfits where they obviously shouldn’t be. Just everyday life with winter sports suddenly dropped into it. Because we’re not selling the dream of going away someday. We’re selling the freedom to go now.

FROM INDOOR SLOPE TO POWER BRAND.
The campaign is the first visible step in a much bigger ambition for SnowWorld. Instead of communicating as a collection of individual locations, we’re building one international brand with a recognisable attitude, visual language and voice. A brand that can move naturally between brand campaigns and performance, between social and DOOH, between first-time visitors and serious athletes, and between winter and the middle of summer.

The visual system keeps the recognisable SnowWorld assets: red, dark blue, white, the logo and striping but uses them with much more confidence. Big typography. Strong photography. Less explanation. More attitude.

Or, as we defined it internally:
Less indoor slope. More sportswear brand.

Because the long-term opportunity for SnowWorld goes far beyond selling tickets to a ski hall. It has the potential to build its own culture around winter sports: content, events, collaborations, products and eventually a community people actually want to belong to.

This campaign starts that movement. Not by pretending SnowWorld is the Alps.
But by celebrating the one thing SnowWorld can offer that the Alps never can:
YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO TO WINTER.
WINTER IS ALREADY HERE.

SnowWorld. Winter Sports. Whenever You Want.
